A few things to type about…

Well, this week has been pretty ok. I haven’t wrote that much because of life. I procrastinated on this huge project, and it came to bite me in the arse… (if it wasn’t for my mom helping me, I would have never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever finished) oh well. I am still trying to cope, and I finally finished the project, but oh wait: I have another project! Also, if you care, I am doing a website for the project: http://www.freewebs.com/venetianmind. Stupid midieval project.

Also, thank you Katharine once more for telling me how to actually use this blog correctly (and even though I may sound sarcastic, I am not trying to be. Stupid migraines!). Really, I am probably the dumbest-intelligent person you’ll ever meet: let’s see, I scored an 11% on the geometry test (just guessing would’ve scored me a 20%), and I am pretty intelligent in the field of mathematics, however I can build huge structures, but can’t script. Oh life’s irony!

Anyways, bleh. I am still doing Jon’s project, it is the biggest damn* project I have ever done. All 7,000m^2 of it. And, Jeffrey is settling down pretty well, although he is again out of school.

And Jackson, I tried to get him to write on the blog- no dice. He would rather order free stuff of the net than write intelligently. Sad part is, that he wants to be a writer when he grows up, and I can’t stand to write. Ever.

But, he did have a fit today. Well, you see mis padres (my parents)*  bought him a game system, the Wii, and he wanted to buy another game. So we headed over to our game shop (which in this case was Best Buy http://www.bestbuy.com**) and my brother, in a frenzy, ran through the street, unwary of the cars and dangers that he could have been killed by. Bad Jeffrey! :P

Also, if you haven’t guessed from earlier in my post, I had a migraine last night, that kept me and my folks up (my  mom sat and hugged me, because I was very depressed, and felt like I was going to vomit everytime I put my head on the pillow) an extra hour. And I learned that the ancient Chinese had a giant astronomical calendar, that was lightyears ahead of other cultures. Huh, never knew that.

So, that’s it. What, are you expecting more?!

*I will sporadically be switching from English to Spanish. If you are lucky, I will put the English translation in parantheses. However, if I don’t, you have two options: IM in Second Life and ask me, which will get you no where, as I will answer with the un-sarcastic "NO!", pick up a dictionary, and/or type in http://www.freetranslation.com. Now, if you can’t type, then I really don’t understand how you could log on to this page. Good Luck.

** I am in no way an advertiser for any company, especially not Best Buy. Or am I?

Yes I am.

Not.

So I ask… Blue. Since Alex had permission, do I? If not, why?

Seriously. Do I have permission to use the same methods as he did to get my stuff there?

Read above. Infuriating! Just two days ago (about) Levi posted something on the forums that opened up a pandora’s box of questions. It lead to posts like this:

[QUOTE=ice Semple]I would have to agree with the idea.

You people arguing you would never see people you know, thats what Friends are for.

You people arguing you wont be able to sell your products, what do you think will happen when you ACTUALLY get moved to the MG?

You people arguing for the economy, what economy? If they were to make Lindex Seperate for teens, the price would drop since MOST teens sell their L$ to pay for premium accounts. Few teens buy L$. On the MG, there are rich people who will buy L$ just for personal amusement. A good example is a friend of mine. He has a well paying job, and spent $1,000 just for his own amusement on WOW. He has spent even more than that setting up, paying for, and running a America’s Army server.

For those that will complain ‘my objects are lower quality than that of MG’, again what are you going to do when you move to the MG? And there are also people who like to collect things and would buy it.

You have to rember, we ALL will be on the MG someday, there is NO denying it. Even if you come back as an educator/approved Adult/Linden, you will still have to move to the MG.

Some people will argue, ‘I need the time to prepare for the MG’. Do you think the people on the MG had time to prepare for it? If you devote yourself and keep your goal insight, you WILL be successful on the MG. Even if its just as simple as making friends or a small business or even one of the MG’s Top Companies.

I used to argue against it because i used to feel the grid was not ready, well I feel we are beyond needing a TGMG Mirror, we need to join the grids.

I would have to agree, LL CANNOT be held legally responsible for what happens in PG areas. After all, they did not create/do it. Its in the TOS, its not their responsibility. They are only in charge of taking care of/reporting the incident. Do people sue internet companies because other people put up porn sights and the internet company allows your child to connect to the porn sight? I think not.

And another thing, the thing about Alex selling on the MG, that WILL encourage illegal making of MG accounts by TG users… Reading that made me want to make a MG accounts, I almost did to. But I have no point since i leave the grid in less than a year.

Something to think about before you decide if you disagree with this. BTW, I agree with the judge ruling… It violates 1st Amendment. If their parents allow them to do such things, they should be allowed to. It should not be the Governments problem or responsibility, it is the Parents and School’s responsibility to teach their children whats right and wrong on the internet.

and another thing, i like to edit my posts a lot… i have edited it 10X since I posted it…

Now, this is leading the TG into a new dark age. A new scandal. What can be done?

Long, LONG week.

Well, this week was a bit better than before, considering that I got a bit of sleep. Well, I did, my dad did, my mom… well, not so lucky. Also, I am sorry for not living up to my promise of ‘writing everyday’, but I have been swamped with schoolwork. If you need a metaphor, let’s just say that I have to do so much writing, that words are coming outta my ______(insert word here). I will try to keep this blogroll running, and I will try to keep you posted.

Also, Jeffrey is staying home from school, being ‘homeschooled’ by me mum. And, of course, skool (spelled with a ‘k’ on purpose), is as boring for me as ever, that I resort to drawing stuff. Lots, n’ lots of stuff. Well, that’s it. Oh, and also: I finally figured out that people visit this blog, thanks to Katharine Berry. Me no techie lot.

Working… Testing…. 1..2..3…

Well, today was about as average as it gets in my life. Let’s see where I should begin to describe it…

I got up, brushed my teeth, ate breakfast, went to school, got taunted, have work today… and the list goes on and on, and then off (when I go to bed).

Jeffrey’s -not- (he told me to put this in, don’t look at me. :P ) ok, still a bit nauseous (as he puts it, ‘a little more than mild’ nauseous). He didn’t sleep well last night either, my mum’s screaming at my dad because he didn’t get my brother’s nausea medication, and that’s about it.

And, buh-bye.

Also, PS. I got a haircut. As my mom puts it, I look like a pygmy monkey.

Drafting Notes.

Hmm… today was probably as bad as Friday was. Want to know why? If so, read on.

Well, between the lapse of Thursday Night and Friday Morning, my brother wouldn’t sleep, sitting in an insomniatic state for most of the night, waking up my parents and I whenever it was possible. So, as one could imagine, last night was a repeat of nights now past…

We go to sleep. Jeffrey tries to go to sleep. Jeffrey fails. Jeffrey cries. Jeffrey comes to my mom’s bedroom to ‘alert’ her that he can’t sleep. Rinse, lather, and repeat.

Basically, in a nutshell, we didn’t sleep most of the night. I didn’t even hit the hay until 1 A.M., and luckily got to sleep ’til 9 AM. Pretty good. But, unfortunately, I wish I could say my parent’s had the same luck. Now, let’s take a look at the scoreboard, shant we?

Steven: 8-9 Hours.

Mom: Steven’s Hours - About 3-4 Hours (I wish I could say minutes).

Dads: Mom’s Sleeping Time - About 1 hour.

Jeffrey’s: Dunno.

Also, every Sunday a sudo-therapist lady comes to visit our house for about 2 hours, and observes Jeffrey and his behavior, and tries to make suggestions how to improve it. So, as I write, she is talking with my mom. Since I can’t hear what they are saying, my TV’s volume is too loud, I am assuming it is just White Noise. If it was a ‘real’ emergency, then our whole household would be on the equivalent of nation-wide Red Alert…

P.S. Who thinks I should let Jeffrey co-author the blog? I mean, then you’ll not only get my ’semi-distorted’ view of life, but you’ll get his. Well, if you think mine is distorted, then I’d imagine that you don’t want to read his…

Steven out.

Life, the Metaverse, and everything.

Today, was… what are the best words to describe it? Oh yes… boring, crazy, and all around, bleh. I have these huge two projects due in about two weeks to three weeks, and I am only half way done. Bleh. On the other hand, I am currently working on my ‘DGD’, a huge cybernetic castle for one Jon Daikon. Stay tuned for pics.

Also, I got a B- so far in Spanish. Bleh.

Yo estoy no feliz, estoy triste.

   And, that’s all folks.

Today’s Dramodys.

Well, today was not TOO bad, considering what has happened over the last week or so. Basically, my brother is sick with some stomach flu, which makes him want to vomit. Well, last night, partly due to his bug, and partly due to his medication, he couldn’t fall asleep. The whole night. So, as you can imagine yesterday night was excellent, especially because he came to ask my mom, ‘Am I ok?’ every 5 minutes. So, we got a full nights ‘recommended sleep: My brother, 3 hours; My dad, >2 hours; My Mom: >2 Hours; and me, coming in with a total of 5 hours of sleep. Boy, am I lucky.

So, as one could guess, I decided not to go to school today, or risk falling asleep in class, or worse: recieving a bad grade on a test. And, until about 11-ish, today was uneventful, if you can say that hearing my brother screaming, and crying is uneventful. Bleh.

At 11 though, the action finally came. Well, as I had mentioned earlier, my brother and I had to go in different rooms, because of some -act- that my brother did. Well, today, they were coming to fix my closet so that my TV and Books could fit in it. It was quite a sight.

"Oh mommy! How do I fall asleep! I want to fall asleep! I don’t care, put me in the hospital, give me -Anastasia-[it was funny, because my brother meant to say anesthetic, but said Anastasia]! I don’t care, if I can’t fall asleep, then I’ll kill myself…"

That was the scene that set the day.

And, of course, some other acts, but this was the worse. Oh well, what does tomorrow bring?

A bit of background information.

So, if you haven’t guessed already, this is my blog. Now, as some of you may know, or not, my name is Steven F., or Steven Fermi as I’m known in Teen Second Life. My life is anything but normal, anything but easy, and read on if you want to know why. I have a 13-year old brother at home, who’s name is Jeffrey. He has autism, well, at least a dose of it. His condition is called PPDNOS (or something like that), basically a ‘wordy’ acronym to say, ‘he’s not normal’. It really makes my life difficult because recently I had to move into a different room because of various ‘problems’ my brother caused. I also am an honors student, and that puts extra pressure on me. Like I didn’t have enough.

Basically, I have no friends in school. Don’t ask me why. I put my creativity and social life into my Second Life, to try to escape my Real Life. Well, let’s just say that I want to get my voice heard, to all the siblings of retarded or autistic children. Believe me, you have my sympathy.

Not to mention I have my own issues. I have seizures, ‘petite mal’, which make me blank out for about a few seconds every ten minutes. Oh yah, and I get horrible migraines. I hate migraines. In addition, I have some emotional issues that I would rather not talk about.

So this is my blog. Enjoy.
